Halloween

We dressed the boys up as pumpkins this year. Joshua was the one who wanted to be a pumpkin since he had a jack-o-lantern shirt. I made both boys matching pumpkin hats so they would look more like a pumpkin. I think they looked cute this year!

Michael dressed up as the frog prince and I was a princess. We were invited to a party Saturday night and needed to dress up for the occasion. I didn't spend a penny on my outfit since I was a bridesmaid this summer I used that dress and I wore my tiara from my wedding. We just bought Michael a Kermit hat from Walmart and I made a crown. It was nice getting out of the house with no kids.

The pond park

After collecting rocks we headed to the pond park. Joshua loves to throw the rocks and and watch the splash. Will loves to watch his brother be crazy as Joshua throws the rocks in the water all sorts of different ways. I am really looking forward to Will being able to walk so we can enjoy the parks more. He hates grass, concrete and sand on his feet or hands so the park is not much fun for him. Enjoy the pictures!

A day outside

We have a lot of nice days in Fort Collins and I try to take advantage of them. Will loves playing with the water table we bought the boys this spring. He does a great job standing up to play with the water. I think he mostly likes to drink it, good thing I use fresh water each time. Joshua loves to ride his bike in our little neighborhood cul-de-sacs and Will loves to watch him from the stroller. Joshua enjoys picking up the rocks he finds on the sidewalk along the way to add to his collection at home, then we take them all and throw them in the pond. He loves that too!

Washington Park

On the 11th of August we went to Laramie to see some friends and go to Will's 15 month check up. Joshua wanted to go to the park while we were there, he loves Washington park, so I took some pictures. After the park we went to a good friends house to visit and enjoy a wonderful meal then off to the doctors office after that. It was a short trip but I am very thankful I still live so close to Laramie so I can go up for the day if I want to.

Water table and sprinkler time.

Joshua loves playing with this sprinkler (thank you Danielle), Will loves playing with the water table. Sometimes I think he wishes he could join Joshua running around in the water, maybe next summer. For now Will loves to play with the water table. I usually just leave his clothes, which end up soaked in the end. :) His favorite thing to do is drink it, thankfully I put clean water in the table every time we use it. Unfortunately there won't be many more sprinkler days before the cooler weather. We will have to do that more.

Swim Date

On July 24th we went swimming with a family from the church we have been attending. They have two little boys one is three and a half and the other is only 5 days older than Will, they love playing together a lot so we have had a lot of play dates.

Will going swimming in his float on land. He doesn't care for the water much but loves playing with his float.

They have this big barrel that fills with water then when it is completely filled it dumps all the water out in a rush. It startles me almost every time.

Joshua decided it would be fun to be under it. He was a little nervous at first but loved it and did it again and again.

Childrens Garden

June 11th Michael's Grandparents and Aunt were in Cheyenne so we drove up to see them all. That afternoon we took the boys to the Children's Garden in Cheyenne. It is so beautiful and Joshua had a blast, Will took a nap in the stroller. They had several sand play areas, a puppet theater, some places to play chess and other games, a pond, you could plant flowers (if you brought your own), Joshua and I even had a potato sack race. I plan on going back there a lot this year.
