For some reason Joshua has hives on parts of his chest, back, underarms, arms, neck, ears, eyes and cheeks. I have no clue why and it looks horrible. At first I thought maybe he was sunburned from playing outside today so I put aloe on his neck and face. Then I noticed the hive/welts all over his body. He was scratching them and complaining that they were burning. I then gave him some benadryl and put some hydrocortizone cream on the welts. As I was going to the bathroom to get the cream Joshua started praying and when I came back in he was still at it. He said something like this
'God please take my owies away. Arm burns, face burns, ears burn, please take them away... ears...' then he spoke some jibberish 'amen... Amen!' It was so cute listening to him pray and it broke my heart to know that he doesn't feel good at all. Please pray for my little boy. Pray that the welts go away fast and he isn't in any more pain.

He's Happy!
My conversation with Joshua
Me: 'I want to see your baby brother today! Do you want to see him today?'
Joshua: 'No. He's happy. Baby Will come out he be sad'
I don't think he knows babies come out crying, I thought this was very cute. Most times I ask him if he wants his baby brother to come out he says yes. :)
I guess I should be patient and content to know that our baby probably is fairly happy inside. He doesn't know what the outside world is like and I'm sure he wouldn't be too impressed.

What we have been up to.
I feel like I should post an update on how we are doing. It has been a while since I wrote last. Here's an update:
1.We celebrated Michael's birthday a couple of weekends ago, we had a great time with some friends and family. If I forgot to invite you I am so sorry it is hard to keep track of everyone who would like to go. Thank you everyone who was able to make it, that meant a lot of Michael.
2.Last Friday we shampooed the carpets in our living room. We cleared most of the things out and shampooed around the really large pieces of furniture (like the desk, the shelf, hutch, and TV). Joshua thought this was fun, he was able to run around the big area for a little while anyway, until it became wet. Then we set up the pack-in-play down stairs.
3.Joshua and I are trying to get over a head cold. Now it has moved to our chest. I am looking forward to getting well again. I hope that happens soon so I don't have to go back to my doctor.
4.Yesterday Michael's parents and grandparents were able to come over for the day. We had a good time visiting with them and Joshua LOVED seeing his family again. He cried so hard when his Grammy (Michael's mom) left. He sobbed and sobbed for at least 10 minutes. It will be over two weeks until he gets to see her again. I felt so bad for him, his little heart was being ripped in two when she left. I think the two of them will do great when our baby is born.
5. Michael is doing great and keeping busy with school and work. He has a job interview today please pray that goes well. We could use the job. Thanks.
6. This weekend we will be driving up to Gillette, for our monthly visit. We really love visiting with Michael's family and our good friends up there. I look forward to this every month. This will be the last time we can make it up there before our baby is born.

Here's a picture of Joshua enjoying our open floor plan.
