We are now in Texas and are nearing the end of our vacation. We have slept in a total of 5 different beds since we have moved out of our apartment and I cannot wait to move into our new place so I can have my bed once again.
I am enjoying Texas but not the weather, or the bugs. On our first day here we found a LIVE scorpion in the bathroom sink. I was able to get salad tongs and flush it down the toilet, while at my Aunts lake house I also found many big black bugs, and spiders in the house. Out side I stepped in a fire ant hill and got attacked. The bites burned very bad, Joshua got bit by them too. At the lake house I saw a total of 2 cousins, 3 second cousins, my cousin's girl friend, Great Aunt, Grandad, my cousin's husband, and my Aunt and Uncle, plus 4 dogs. We went to the lake Joshua swam in the lake too, with a life jacket. Joshua and I even went on an inter tube ride. They have many pools near their house but we only went to one. It had a nice ramp into the pool so Joshua was able to walk into the pool and play.
After the lake house, Sunday, I rode to Dallas with my cousin Stefanie and stayed at her house on Sunday night. We had a delicious dinner of lasagna and Joshua had a ton of fun playing with our cousins and all of their toys. This morning we went to the Dallas Zoo with Stefanie and family and met up with my friend Katrina and her son. It was so much fun seeing the animals, the zoo also had a play area for toddlers with a climbing area, activity area where Joshua made a bird house, and a wadding pool. The first thing Joshua did at the wadding pool was lay down and in all of his clothes. It was a very humid day today.
Now we are trying to stay cool, and rest our feet. Later we will go swimming in the pool that is right out the back door. Once again I'll post pictures when I get back to Laramie and we have our computer set up.

Denver
We finished our first week out of our old house, in Cheyenne with Michael's family. It was a good week, we didn't do much. Joshua enjoyed picking berries, and gardening with Papa, the big rabbits they have are always fun for Joshua to feed. I'll post pictures of our stay there later
Last night was my good friend Kristen's baby shower for baby Brooke. It was a lot of fun and went well. I made a cake and brought fruit, nuts, and punch. If you want to see pictures of the baby shower (they might not be on her site yet) just click on The Winegars blog on my side bar. It was so good to see them again. I really miss living in Laramie and cannot wait to move back on the 15th.
I returned to Cheyenne late last night and left for Denver early this morning. Joshua is enjoying his time with his cousins, and Aunt. The Dog scared him half to death as soon as he walked through the door but he has now made friends with the dog, and the cat. Tomorrow we will be going to Eliches and Thursday to Texas.
I am anxious to post pictures and will do as soon as I can. (after our move and I find the computer cord) Joshua is such a cutie and is growing more every day. He says full sentences now and I can understand him all most all the time. He is still a pill with sleeping but is becoming a better eater. One of his favorite foods at lunch or dinner are green beans, he prefers fresh over frozen or canned.
My omelet awaits. I'll update more later.

Finally finished moving...
into our storage unit. We finished boxing and moving all our belongings and cleaned up our old place as of 12:15 AM!!! We arrived in Cheyenne at 1am and we are both exhausted. I was able to take a nap today with Joshua and am very glad I did, I fell more rested now. We probably would have been finished little earlier but I HAD to see my good friends, adorable new baby girl before we left.
I don't know how we did it but we got everything we own (besides the things we brought to Cheyenne) in our storage unit. We are going to be moving into our new apartment on the 15th of August and would LOVE some help if anyone would want to or are willing to. The storage unit is allowing us to use their u-haul for only 2 hours 5:30-7:30 pm on that Friday. If anyone would want to help let me know and I can give you the information. All we really need help with is getting everything to our apartment not unpacking it all. We really hate asking for help but we really could use it. I believe my in-laws are coming over to help for the occasion and we will be giving pizza out around 5pm for those who would like to help. If you can't help I understand (most of you reading this don't live in the same town) I just thought I would let you all know.
Well It looks like now all I have to do is enjoy my time with family, and friends, and wait for the next 2 1/2 weeks. We are looking forward to moving into our new place (if you couldn't tell already).

Packing
So we have been going to Gem City Bone and Joint to get empty boxes to put all our thing in. Well every time we go Joshua gets sad and said no, no, no, while pointing to the building. I think he is sad because the more boxes we get more of his toys and our belongings go away.
Today we sold my childhood desk, for $70 I was so happy. It was sad seeing it go, but I think it was going to a good place. A foreign student bought it and she said she really liked it. I am glad it was a woman who bought it. As Michael and the lady took the desk downstairs Joshua started pouting and crying . I don't think he even knew it existed until a week ago when we decided to sell it. He has such a soft heart.
Joshua also thinks that anyone looking at our apartment to rent it, is here for him to play with. A girl and her mother looked at the house and as they were walking out the door Joshua was sobbing and pointing at them. I felt bad for the little fellow. It is true we all need friends, people who like us for us. So if you want a friend come to our house, just call ahead of time.

Update on moving in...
Well we have been busy, busy, busy with packing and moving everything into our storage area. We have most of the house packed and in the storage area, our desk, couch, dresser, and my cedar chest is in there too. Tonight we are trying to finish packing the rest of our things so we can move out this week. I just finished vacuuming our storage area and Joshua's closet. We have a lot of cleaning to do before we move out.
I just thought I would let everyone know that since we no longer have access to our cords for our camera to get hooked up to our computer (they are boxed up) I won't be able post pictures until around the 15th when we have it connected at our new place. I promise to upload pictures then. So for people who check my blog daily for pictures and updates it might be 2 weeks or a little longer before you get to see or hear more from us.
Pray for us that all goes well with moving and Joshua and I traveling to Texas the 6th through the 13th. I'll talk to you all later.

We found a place!!!
This morning was very eventful. I went garage-saleing with a friend of mine then looked at apartments and called about them until noon today. It was very crazy.
We gave our application and have been approved for an apartment. It is very nice, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a nice kitchen and pantry with a dishwasher, dining area, front and back doors. The one we looked at was nice and would be available by the beginning of this week and we will be looking at the apartment right next door tonight to see if it is nicer. If it is we will move into that one on the 15Th of August and stay with Michael's family until that apartment is ready.
I will post picture when we are all moved in. I'll also post pictures of our current apartment after we move out, so you can compare.
The things I really like about the new apartment: Nice plush grass out front, trees, back patio for the grill and Joshua's sand box, large master bedroom, bathtub, dishwasher, storage under the stairs, the main living area is on the first floor (no more climbing 20 steep steps to get to our front door), Joshua loves the stairs (going up and down them), pantry, cubbard and counter space. Close to my friends houses and two parks Joshua enjoys going to.
I think this about does it have a great weekend.

Moving Update
We still haven't received an email from the University saying we have an apartment waiting for us. I keep checking our email in anticipation. I am hoping before we move out we could move into something else here in town. It is just nice to have your own space and have all your things in the place you are living in. That way too we would have to move some things to Cheyenne and back.
We took three trips to the storage unit last night, all were boxes. We have even more boxes ready to take today and I need to go pick up even more boxes. We probably won't make another trip back to the unit until Sunday night or Monday night. Michael is going out of town with his dad so we will wait.
I am glad to see that we have plenty of room in our storage unit for all of our things. I was worried at first when we completely filled our third bedroom with boxes and had them overflowing into the living room. Joshua doesn't seem to care that we are packing his toys, bedding and other things. He thinks the storage unit is pretty cool and enjoys it when we make trips out there.
I don't know if I said this before but I hope we get into the River Village Apartments because every time we drive by them Joshua says "Josh House" and points to them. I feel really bad that we moved out of them in the first place.
Please be praying if the Lord wills it that we can move into the River Village Apartments soon. But in really any of the University Apartments will work for us.
