We drove to Cheyenne last Sunday afternoon to get some pictures taken with Stacey J. She does a great job and we have gone to her since Joshua was 2 1/2 years old. We always look forward to the photo sessions even when our kids don't cooperate. Please check them out. I cannot wait to purchase them!!

Will is 11 months old!!
I cannot believe Will is 11 months old. I even missed his 11 month birthday and didn't get the pictures taken until 4 days later... Oops!
He is such a character he loves; making faces, hugging his brother's head when Joshua places it in Will's lap. He loves eating food and will try anything, he loves drinking from his momma and I don't know how much longer I will keep nursing him. He loves bath time and tries to jump in the water when I get close to the tub. He goes to sleep on his own in his own crib with little to no complaining at all. Last week he slept 4 hours in a row twice in one night, and hasn't done that since. Will loves his blue blanket and pacifier. He doesn't really enjoy walks but it has been way too cold out to be enjoyable yet. He loves yogurt melts, puffs, baby food, pureed home cooked meals, cheerios, cereal bars, his sippy cup (although he doesn't drink from it well yet). He does well in nursery, I haven't been called down to get him yet!
It is so hard to believe he is almost one. I guess I should start planning for his birthday... Something I really don't want to do!

I love his hippo teeth!!

Friends
Easter Happenings.
We had a wonderful Easter. The week before Joshua and I tie-died t-shirts for our family Joshua had a lot of fun squirting the die on the spots he wanted colored. I think they turned out well, nice and bright wonderful for spring! Joshua and I made some Easter cupcakes, they were really just banana bread with cream cheese frosting but Joshua likes the word cupcakes so that is what they were. The Saturday before Easter we died Easter eggs with our neighbor. Joshua loved dieing them and would die the eggs over and over again. Saturday we were planning on attending an Easter egg hunt at a church just out of town but I got the time wrong and we weren't able to go. So I went to the Dollar Store and bought some items so our neighbor girl and Joshua could go on a hunt. They had a lot of fun finding the eggs and a great time opening them up to eat and see what toys would be inside.
The weather Easter Sunday was pretty crummy, at one point there was a blizzard out. The sun did eventually shine, but it was pretty windy and cool. We had the boy's Easter baskets on the table for then when they woke up. Will was a pretty happy kid getting to examine what was in his basket, he had to taste and shake everything. Joshua loved the basket as well and was pretty pleased with what was inside. I think we did good this year. After Church we drove to Cheyenne to spend Easter with Michael's little sister, Mom, and Dad. We had a wonderful meal and conversation!
Before Easter we celebrated Michael's 25th birthday on the 1st of April. I made him a thin mint cheesecake and a spaghetti dinner. We were also able to leave the boys with our neighbor for an hour or so that afternoon because Michael's boss and co-workers took him out. It was fun getting out of the house with no children even if it was for a short time. That night we played Mario Cart for the Wii with Michael's friend from Illinois. The game was Michael's gift although Joshua seems to think it was for him. Joshua enjoys the game as well. :)

Too cute
Joshua: Thank you for these baskets.
Joshua: Mom I saw bof (both) of these baskets at Wal-mart. They were 5 dollars at Wal-mart.
The baskets I got at Sam's Club on sale last year and I filled them with items from Wal-mart and mostly the Dollar Store.
He is such a funny little man

Going nowhere
My conversation with Joshua this morning.
Joshua: I want a nack (snack).
Mommy: What kind of snack?
Joshua: A little one.
Mommy: (Okay lets ask a different way) What would you like to eat?
Joshua: A nack!
Such a silly boy.

Bottle feedings
Last night was wonderful...
Yesterday Will proved to us that he could successfully drink from a bottle, a whopping 1.5 ounces of formula. Then last night he was very fussy and I couldn't get him to calm down he acted hungry but I wouldn't suffice so I thought of trying a bottle. I prepared a 4 ounce bottle turned on some lights and tried to feed him. At first he wanted nothing to do with the bottle then I sat him up and showed him the bottle. Less than a minute later he grabbed the bottle and began to drink. I could not stop smiling, I was so happy that he was finally drinking from the bottle, he drank 3 ounces last night and 3 more this morning. I would love to nurse him 3 times a day and have him take bottles just before bed time.
Another wonderful bit of news. Last night after Will drank those 3 ounces he slept for 3 hours and 58 minutes!!!!! I felt great when I woke up after those almost 4 hours. :) It may be Michael's Birthday today but it felt like mine last night. That was such a wonderful gift. I cannot tell you the last time he slept longer than three hours.
