Bathing Boys

Will is at that age now where he can sit up in the bathtub, and that makes Joshua very happy. Joshua loves it when it is bath time so he can join Will in the tub. Will loves bathing and everything that goes with it. He loves to splash in the water and chew washcloths. He does a great job sitting up in the bath tub but every now and then his little body goes slipping away and I have to catch him before he goes under.

These pictures were taken in January.

Camo Boys

I thought it would be cute to have the boys where these camouflage outfits. Joshua thought it was fun to be like twins.

Will turned 8 months old... Late

I know this is late but my computer wasn't able to upload pictures and now it can so I have some catch up to do.

Here are some pictures of Will when he turned 8 months old.

Sickness

The last week has been full of sick babies and sleepless nights. A week and a half ago I knew something wasn't right with Will he was pulling at his ears and very fussy. I took him to the doctor and She said he looked great and if he was getting an ear infection it was at the very beginning and she couldn't see it yet in his ears. About 5 days later Will would not stop crying, he would just scream in pain and pull at his ears. I took him back to the doctors but to a different one. He had a double ear infection and his two top teeth were coming in. She ordered an antibiotic for him and now things are going much better. He is still grumpy and not sleeping well but I'm praying for a better week.

Joshua has a horrible cough, had a bad runny nose, and he hasn't been sleeping well at night. On average I have been getting 6 hours of sleep at night, which isn't enough for me. I am tired and want to sleep soon. Will did sleep 7 hours in a row two nights ago but Joshua woke me up in the middle of that.

I have been fortunate to not get sick yet myself, I'm praying I won't catch this one. Michael has been well also. Praise God for that!

I am praying for a better week.

Lost and Found

Will loves his pacifier very much and is very silly with it. He loves to take the bottom of the pacifier and chew on it while the nipple of it is in his mouth. He has become very good at putting the paci back in his mouth the correct way! He loves to grab the pacifier and quickly (while we are trying to get him to sleep) throw it across the room. Then he cries because he really wanted it and made a mistake.

Yesterday while Will was in his crib laying down he threw the paci out of the crib, so funny. Another time at Wal-mart he dropped the paci in the shopping cart and it took me a while to find it. We have to make sure we have it leashed to him so he doesn't loose it.

Lately we have been finding pacifiers where we didn't think of looking. Joshua found one under his bed, we found one outside in the snow where we park, and another in the laundry basket. I love finding them because then we don't need to buy more!

Why?

Joshua is completely in the why stage of life. We have been fortunate to have missed out on it for such a long time. He has always asked why but just when something doesn't make sense. Today he has been asking why all day long...

At the store:
Mom: I need you to stay on the cart because we will be moving soon.
Joshua: Why?
Mom: Because we will be moving soon.

At home:
Mom: Please don't dump the cookies out I don't want crumbs everywhere.
Joshua: Why?
Mom: Because I don't want crumbs everywhere.

Do I really have to repeat my self? Of course there has been more than just two times today that he has asked why. If I counted them there is at least over 15 times so far he has asked me why.
