Our Wedding

What were your wedding colors?
Silver and baby blue. Our theme was snowflakes (we were going to have it in the winter) I had snowflake ornaments hanging on each pew.

White strapless dress that I had straps added to it. It was a David's Bridal dress.

Danielle, Joni, Erin

What about your groomsmen?
Garret, Kyle O, Kyle S

Do you still talk to your wedding party?
All the bridesmaids we do, only one of the Groomsmen

What was the biggest "disaster" of the wedding?
I didn't have any it all went PERFECT. Thanks to my family who helped out a bunch.

Who were your ushers?
Michael's cousins Mitch and Grant

Who was the music at your wedding?
We didn't have anyone playing piano. I had music playing through the speakers. My friend Joni did sing the Lord's Prayer while we had communion.

What was the reception like?
It was at the Camplex Heritage Center. We had a ton of tables and chairs set up with dancing and a buffet of veggies, fruits, sandwiches, wings, punch and cake of course, with some nuts on the cake table.

Was rice thrown?
No, instead I made packages with paper snowflakes in them for people to throw. (Our theme was snowflakes because we were going to get married in January but my dad wouldn't travel in January so we upped it to August).

Who traveled farthest to get to your wedding?
My Aunt, She traveled from Texas, about a 14 hour drive but she flew. My dad drove 11 hours.

Did you have a receiving line?Yes

Transportation?
Michael drove our Jetta to the reception.

Your favorite memory of the wedding?
Preparing for the wedding its self. I only had a month to plan it in. I also loved the reception, because I got to dance with my husband and I LOVE dancing with my husband. I also loved our Honeymoon but it came 2 1/2 years later.

How many weddings have you been a part of?
Flower girl for my oldest sister's wedding. Maid of honor for my friend Danielle, and Joni's wedding. I was the guest book watcher for my sister-in-laws wedding.

Thank you Kristen for posting these questions. I loved going through them and remembering our wedding again.

A visit to my house

A friend of mine had this on her post, and I am in the mood to blog so I thought I would fill out the questionnaire. Enjoy!!!

If you came to my House:

You would see:
The kitchen, and probably in pretty good shape. The only mess should be dishes in the sink and possible some things on the table.

We’d probably feed you:
Spaghetti (Michael's favorite dish), and french toast for breakfast (Joshua's favorite dish.

And offer you this to drink:
Milk, water, Juice, and Dr. Pepper or Mt. Dew

We’d undoubtedly ask if you’d read:
My blog, only because we don't read the paper or any special magazine.

We’d want to play this music for you:
Michael's latest favorite band he has been listening to, K-LOVE radio, or Wyoming Public Radio.

We’d want to tell you the latest about:
What Joshua is doing, how well his is talking, when we would like to get pregnant again.

We’d probably suggest a game of:
Settlers of Catan, Pinochle, Hand and Foot.

We might show off:
The latest thing I made, or scrapbook I put together. Joshua would probably show off his room or the fact that at age 2 he can do a hand stand.

We might get on the computer and show you:
Michael's game, the newest Lucas Family pictures or video clips

If it was a long enough visit, we might watch:
Psych, Dan in Real Life, Mickey Mouse, or Max and Ruby.

What would a visit to your house be like?
