Frontier Days Parade

Yesterday Joshua and I drove to Cheyenne to watch one of the many Frontier Days Parade. Joshua loved it and the sucker someone gave him. The parade lasted 45 minutes, and Joshua enjoyed every minute of it. The parade mostly consisted of horses, horse drawn carriages, cars (in that order).

After the parade My mother-in-law, Joshua, and I went to the First Methodist Church for a cheep lunch. Joshua, My mother-in-law and I were able to eat for only $6.oo, of course Joshua eats like a bird so mostly my mother-in-law and I consumed what we bought. There were some people painting faces so before we ate I had a lady paint a puppy on Joshua's arm so he could see it. he showed many people his puppy dog. One lady wasn't talking to him but to some other girl and asked her where she got her face painted. Right away Joshua held up his arm and started pointing to it saying puppy, he was pretty proud.

On our way home from lunch Joshua fell asleep in the car but the moment I laid him on his Aunties bed his eyes popped opena and said "Grammy?". So that was the end of that nap. That afternoon we went to a petting zoo. Joshua loved the bunnies and little chicks and the goslings. There were other animals there as well, pony, cow, pigs, goats, there might be something else I am forgetting.

We had a wonderful day in Cheyenne with my mother-in-law, maybe next year Michael could go with us. Enjoy the pictures.

The capitol building, right where we were sitting for the parade.

Some cowboys from Hawaii.

The yellow bus. More like an old limo

Old car.

Navy reserve float. They gave Joshua a ball so he was happy with that float.
